Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The surgery is inspected regularly by the Care Quality Commission, the national regulatory body, who ensure that public services are provided to a high standard across the board.  The aim of the regulation is to ensure that patients can expect GP practices to meet the standards of quality required to protect their safety and to respect their dignity and rights where care is provided.  There is a national programme in place for the inspection of GP practices. 

Following a CQC Inspection on 9th August 2016 The New Surgery has been rated 'GOOD' in all areas.
